Seventy-One
I've been resting more than I planned to, due to some patellar tendonitis in my left knee. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a Cho-Pat Original Knee Strap from a place called "Brace Yourself Sports Medicine". How fitting.
This is my journal/diary/training log. Unlike Martha's, you don't have to ask permission to read it. Of course, you'll probably be 2x4 out of your mind unless ewe no me, or you like watching grass grow, or you wonder what it's like to ride a fixed gear bicycle for a really long time.

Hi John, Sorry to hear about your knee. I had that problem last year and the strap helped. I had been wearing the strap for a while before seeing an ortho, and he had me move the strap quite a bit lower than I had been wearing it. He positioned it on what felt like just bone, but it was actually where the tendon is anchored to the bone. Spreading that anchoring point seemed to be the key. Ice helps too.
Good luck & see you Saturday
